I’ve run teacher training workshops in my areas of special interest, including teaching vocabulary, EAP and writing skills. These include a full-day workshop I ran for teachers in Moscow and St Petersburg on Teaching Advanced Writing Skills (see my blog posts here and here) and training for teachers as part of a start-of-year induction at King Saud University in Riyadh (read about it here).
I’ve been involved in the English Language Teachers Summer Seminar programme at the University of Oxford (visit website). This is a teacher training course held each summer at Exeter College, Oxford for a wonderfully international group of EFL teachers. In 2013, I led a week of workshops on Teaching EAP and in 2014 and 2015, I gave workshops on Teaching Advanced Writing Skills.
I deliver professional development webinars for OUP and others, especially on vocabulary-related topics. Recordings of some of these can be found in the OUP webinar archive.
